Advances in Biologics for Food Production—
Jupiter, FL, October 9, 2018—The award-winning American Farmer television series will feature 3Bar Biologics in an upcoming episode, scheduled to broadcast first quarter 2018. American Farmer airs Tuesdays at 8:30aET on RFD-TV.
With global population estimates nearing ten billion people by 2050, the Agriculture industry is faced with the challenge of how to continue to feed a growing nation. At the same time, many of our valuable resources are becoming scarcer and the necessary acres of tillable land required for food production continues to decrease.
This segment of American Farmer will focus on recent developments in biological research, showing how naturally occurring microbes can help with the issue of feeding our growing world. 3Bar Biologics will discuss its work with the Ohio State University, as well as several industry group, and how this has resulted in leading edge products that not only improve yields, but also reduce dependence on synthetic chemicals.
“The possibilities for 3Bar’s technology are limitless,” said Jane Fife, chief science officer at 3Bar. “The use of more effective beneficial microbes is a giant leap forward for the industry, and we believe there are many other potential use cases. We are dedicated to delivering the most viable microbes to farmers worldwide.”
“As global population continues to grow, farmers are faced with the responsibility of how to keep up with demand in order to supply enough food to our growing world,” said Jennifer Tierney, Senior Producer for the American Farmer series. “Recent biological breakthroughs are helping farmers do this with ease.”
